Amid the rural quaintness of Beecher, a Will county community with roots in the 1870s, Castletown Homes is pleased to present Prairie Park. A subdivision of 40 single family homes and 74 townhomes, including ranch duplexes, Prairie Park blends the peaceful and private lifestyle of rural living with life's modern amenities.
Less than 40 miles from the heart of Chicago, Beecher provides residents the best of the country life alongside access to all that the Second City offers. The town resides but three miles from the Bishop Ford Freeway along Illinois Route 1 (Dixie Highway) and but a short drive to Interstate 57. While the city and its features are within an hour's drive, Beecher sits but seven miles from Governors State University. At its Center for the Performing Arts, the university often hosts renowned entertainers, artists, and speakers from around the world.
Boasting a town slogan of "A Proud Past and a Promising Future," Beecher residents enjoy a community spirit as vibrant as any in Chicagoland. In 2000, the village earned the Governor's Hometown Award, an honor recognizing the town's civic soul and commitment to a high quality of life. Beecher also claims an innovative school system, tree-lined historic streets, and, for those warm summer nights, a pair of ice cream parlors that invite residents to revisit a decade long passed. Such is life in this enchanting village of less than 3,000.
The Prairie Park subdivision promises to not only blend into Beecher's charismatic roots, but signify the future of a Chicagoland community prepared to tackle 21st century opportunities.
